    Need help fellas.....
Have replaced spider injector, fuel pump, newly programmed computer, etc on this 98 silverado 2wd with 350 v8.....the security light stays on constant but will not run on its own but will if you spray it with carb cleaner

tried turning the key on and waiting for 10 minutes to reset code....same prob

scanner states the p1626 code and that the security system not linking same password to the VTD??

ANY SERIOUS IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX OR TO GO ABOUT BYPASSING THE SECURITY SYSTEM?

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum
Who programmed the computer?? and is it a stock program? are you using a scanner or a code reader?

does the key have a chip on it? try a different key and see if the problem changes.
