2001 chevy silverado 1500 no heat

    temp gauge registers 190 degrees but no heat after 30 sec. blows cold. replaced thermostat, Heater core maybe???? Thanks:no:

    is your heater flap open the plastic cover that turns from hot to cold

    When it gets warmed up feel of the heater hoses both should be warm, if only one is warm thats the inlet then the heater core could be plugged up.
