i just bought their scanner online..........

the shop down the road wanted to charge me $60 just to scan my truck. i could hook it up and have all the info i needed to fix the truck in less than 5 minutes (depending on the scanner) and they want to charge me $60. call me stupid all you want for spending $250 on a scanner instead of spending the $60, i don't care.

now i know a shop needs to make money to stay alive, but come on $60 for a 5 minute job. give me a break, if i owned that shop i would have settled for a few cold ones and gained some more business from word of mouth through that person.

i know plenty of people that i could scan their vehicles for them, for a few bucks.
plus when i really get in to it, i can order their expansion packs for certain manufactures.
the cool thing is i think i can use this scanner as a mobile dyno. it will also help me if i ever decide to go through with my engine rebuild and get a custom tune. if not for this truck, then my next one.

You will love it. I have never questioned buying mine! one of the great things about it is you can datalog up to 9 sensors at once (maybe even more) and then it exports it to excel so you can save/review etc!

speedo, i think so. as for the speed limiter i think you a need a custom tune to disable that.

No it will not turn off the speed limiter, and I do not believe it will correct the speedo either.
