How do I reset the "change oil" warning?

    I have a 2003 Silverado with the 5.3 liter auto with the Z71 package. I don't have the Driver Information Center so how do I reset the warning that comes on automatically when I start the truck. It's down in the same box that the odometer is. Thanks.

    i have a 03 too. and to reset the oil life turn the key to the on postion so the the dash lights come on and then press the gas padel three times it will say oil life reset and then press it one more time to set it. and your done.

    lol, seems like on alot of these newer trucks, you basically have to do the "Hokey Pokey" to reset things.

    But i guess thats what its all about. <-- bad joke:D
