Question truck and car have baby

passed a truck/car today while driving around. while driving up to it it looked like a slammed avalance. when i got in front of it it had the front end of station wagon. did gm come out with a new cross-bread i don't know about? it also had the ugly plastic the older avalances sported their first years. tried to get pic. with camera phone but didn't turn out.

nope wasn't a ssr, i see those all the time around where i live. it looked like a station wagon except for the plastic trim going half way up and the back end of an avalance. this is the first time i've seen one of these.
