 | I have a 1990 Suburban two-wheel drive w/ 700R4. Possible torque converter troubles or solenoid failure. Makes loud thrashing sounds while not engaged. Need info. Please help! |

| 79ford NP-435 transmission problems I have a 79 ford f-250 with a NP-435 transmission it won't stay in reverse it pops right out, if you try holding it reverse it grinds, and then would slowly back up |

|  New Old Guy Just got signed up. Have owned many g. m. vehicles in the last 30 years. All have been Good ones. Just a few. 1966 G.M.C. 1/2 ton. I street rodded in 1974. A 1962 Buick lesabre, My first car. A 1970 Chevelle SS . A 1969 Malibu. A 1995 Chev 3/4 4x4. Am currently Driving a 1977 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive, 454- 4spd 14 bolt rear with 410 gears. It has 122000 miles on it and looks good, runs strong. I reside in northeastern Utah. Hobbies are Building hot rods. Hot trucks, and the outdoors. |
