| 1995 f150 Hi i have a 1995 f150 i was lookin at putting a aftermarket cam in it what would be a good cam for this truck. Thanks. |

| Welcome to the site. If that 12 yr old engine has not been re-built yet, I doubt that you will ever benifit from a bigger cam. With already low cylinder pressures, the ECm will never allow enough timing advance to obtain a noticeable horsepower increase. There is actually a decent chance that a larger cam might decrease performance. Just my $.02 |

| I dont really mind if i dont get much hp im looking more of the sound it produces this is my second truck and i was looking for a project to do while im in shop. |

| What type of sound are you trying to achieve by changing a cam? Other than too much duration, and overlap, that will produce a lumpy idle. (This will be out of stock ECM parameters anyway), you will not accomplish any noise differences. If you are looking for sound, just change the muffler???? |
