Brake Lights always ON!!!!!

Has anyone ran across this problem and figured out ho to fix it?

The brake lights stay on all the time.

Check for pedal return and it's switch. Check relay.

Which brake light? Parking brake... ABS light...?? If it's the ABS it may just be a wheel sensor..

if your refering to your taillights, then the switch at the pedal needs to be adjusted.

Mine has been on for, oh, 10 years now in my '92 Silverado. I asked a service guy once and he said it was no big deal, so I have ignored it ever since.

Bulb has been burning for ten years ? Tell the brand, because that's pretty good.
Do you have a new service guy yet ? Did he say why it's on ?
It is easy to correct, easy to identify what system is the cause.
Why would you tolerate a failed safety alert warning on your truck for so long ?
I'm genuinely curious why you don't care about a potential brake problem.
