| need help bad PLEASE!!! 97 nissan electrical problem i have a 97 nissan h/b 4wd and when i put on brakes the dash lights up and the heater controls and my parkin lights when the lights are turned off. my 3rd brake light stays lit and the lights dont get brighter when i put on brakes. and also my speedometer periodically doesnt work till you get up to about 40 mph any ideas on these problems????? |

| Welcome to the site; I had a 95 truck with a 3.0 V6, and I had similar electrical problems. My problem was the gauge cluster itself. Dealer had to replace the entire thing, under warranty of course, but there was one big problem,,,,,,the odometer was mechanical, and the replacement required a brand new odometer. This made my truck a TMU vehicle. This meant "True Mileage Unknown". Talk about a resale killer. Might as well have been a salvaged title. |
