Big Foot is a Ford. Need I say more? BTW, TTB does better for offroading than a solid axle. It's just that people don't understand how to work on TTB set ups on Ford if it tears up.

about the only thing that I can say here is mid 70's ford 3/4 ton, You can find one that came with a dana 60 full floater out back, a dana 44 solid axle up front, a big block with a 4 speed and a divorced t-case. yep that pretty much sums it up.I also have to agree with bigfootisaford, I have a TTB axle and haven't had a problem with it in the mud.

i voted for toyota only because they are the first to master it. remember the original landcruiser? basis for the style jeep we all know and love. so toyota had it then, and i think they still have it now.

| I can see you point of view on Toyotas..... I see a lot of them on the trails.... but interesting question here.... when it comes to off-road trucks and who is the best.... how come Jeep was not an option? They seem to dominate the off road world.... Just a thought there.

I remember test driving the Scout 2 when they came out they sure were a lot of fun I seen once in this 4x4 book that this older lady traded her sports car for a Scout 2 and coated it with yellow bed liner that was one nice looking Scout I would say tires, power, and weight will make any 4x4 go where no man has gone before. A little Star Trek humor there.
