Fav. Place to go 4 Wheelin'

Where do you all like to go off-roading? I like to go to Pismo Beach, CA. We can drive right on the beach (the only place in CA we can do this!).

i like to go to an old construction site, the mud is crazy there and it has huge ruts from all the big excavators. We also go to place that is just a big field, we just mud bog all day long there, it alot of fun. Ill have some pics soon of our trip to Mount. Moriss, that is comming up this next weekend, and that will be crazy.

I like to go to the Rubicon a couple times a year. Also Prairie city is nice up in Sacramento. Carnegie is nice if you're close to it, only in the wintertime though, it's just mud and lots of other people. I like the old construction site idea.

We go to friends a lot....he has a field and it is so swampy that my buddy with his 44's was buried! That day I was playing with my four wheeler, and buried too most of the day, but our friend's dad has a tractor he just kept hooking us too and pulling us out.....just so we could go again. I was covered from head to toe with mud, clay like mud to boot.....a lot of the other girls there were like, ugh, but what do I care. You won't see me put my truck in the pit....too many rocks to scratch my paint....that's why I have the wheeler :-) the trucks for hookin.

We also go to some powerlines near by where there is a pit, but not as often anymore, oh yeah and behind Walmart....that's fun too!!!!

forget worryin bout scratchin the paint, just bring some primer for when you do scratch

I prefer trail riding personally. Woods, nature and sights. There are some good spots around here in PA with a great mix of mud, rocks and tricky trails. Mountains, lakes and plenty of scenery, where you can forget about the perils of the city. Great spots to camp too. However, I have to say my absolutely favorite trail was up on Mount Pisgah in Winthrop Maine. It is an old jeep trail overrun leading to an old fire tower at the peak. the views are fantastic and depending on which side of the mountain you are on, the trails are awesome. Here is a link to a video of the trail....

Mt Pisgah

This was made by some friends of a freind of mine a couple years ago. I thought it was great, free and worth it since I lived less then a mile from it for years! Check it out, quite cool.
