  | Insta-trac question I had to use my 4wd to get home tonight. YAY!! LOL. My question though, is it safe to park it and leave it over night with the 4wd engaged? My driveway is a steep incline, and I needed it to get up. Just want to make sure it will not hurt my transfer case to leave it over night.

| it snowed/iced here too last night and i had to take my wife to work. i left her 99 silverado in 4wd all night and it was out in the morn. i had to push the button to lock it back in. i see no harm in it but im not for sure.
