| So I could use a little assistence... For starters, I have a 2002 silverado reg cab 4x4.(5.3 liter vortec). Is a leveling kit really worth it? Plus im looking into a 3 inch suspension lift. With the three inches what size tire could I run? Just wondering if maybe someone has some advice for me.

| you will be much happier with a 6inch lift with your 4wd. you can run 35's if you want or i think they are 315 or something like that. just remember the bigger the tire the more you sould upgrade the drive tran

| Yeah the three just didn't seem like enough. I appreciate it. Any possibility someone could throw some prices out there to go along with some of the stuff 03chevy was saying? And, what brands are the ones to go with?

| will you be putting it on yourself? or you going to a shop? if you are going to do it yourself go on ebay.com and you can find them there. when i got mine 3in sysp. lift i went to everyone in town and they all said yeah you can buy it but we will not let you leave with it we have to install it for you. a fabtech lift 3" was 900.00 i said ok then they said to have it installed your bill will be 1500.00

| installation with an IFS sytem regardless of mid sized or full is not going to be cheap. There is a lot of cutting. FYI, the 3" kit gives a nice look, but strains the front ball joints and torsion bars quite hard, you will be happier with the 6" For my Blazer, the full install of a 6" sus lift was only like 900 bucks, so I would guess arounf there for ya is reasonable. I have seen those trucks runnin' 36" tires too, though I am not sure if they have a BL or not. Meanwhile, another point to remember, the 6" kit itself will level out the truck... so you may not need to add a leveling kit. Most pf them are like 5.5 in the rear and 6 in the front, or vica versa depending on where it sags a bit. Either way, truck will look awesome... good luck with it
