no matter how you look at it if you put 4 knuckles on a truck then it will be 4 wheel steer. just my 2 cents

I have seen a few of these small trucks with 4wheel steering, but I have looked hard at the second picture, and have been trying to find the original site I found them on. I still see it in the first picture, but not in the second one. Oh well, a mystery I guess. Not my trcuk so it is not my concern.

And thanks 75, That cleared some things up. I just had never seen that until the other day. BUt y'all know me, sometimes I will get hung up on completely unneeded information....LMAO... anyways, I agree, the straight axle would aloow for a higher lift, and does perform better off road, I just always like learning something new.

I think you are looking at the right front and left rear tire... The front tire being turned hard right gives the illiusion the rear tire is turned... Looks straight to me.

Well I agree, it is point of view. I have spent the last hour going through my entire history and searching for where I got these pictures originally to see if I could get more. BUt I am at a loss. I am sure over the next few weeks I will stumble across it again, and if so I will let y'all know. For now I am sticking to POV for the rear wheels.

As for the subject at hand, was it only the Jeep's that have CV's shafts in their straight axles?

Okay, I said I would post back when I found the original site where I got these pics. It took me a few days, but it turns out that I got it from Cardomain. Geez, I should have checked there first....LOL....

Here is a shot of the rear axle... as you can see, there is not rear steering. It was bothering me so I had to see for sure... Hmmmm now i can sleep tonight....LOL....

And here is a link the guys page.... Lots of extras....
This page is for my 1996 SFA ZR2 and my wifes BDS BlaZeR2 - Terre Haute, Indiana

The front axle came from a Grand Cherokee......

Figured you all would wanna see.

no worries mate.... I saw what you saw, what made me lose sleep was that I could not for the life of me remember where I got the pics from in the first place, and I usually have a good memory for those kinds of things. Besides, I am glad I did, I forgot he has a complete parts list for the swap, which I know I will be able to take advantage of in the future...... LOL...

But anyways........................
