Actually I have a part in all of them, but only have the titles to the bronco, the red truck, and the orange truck. The orange one is my latest.

This area is an OHV park, and we pay a little money to participate. This area is only about 20 minutes from my house, and it is about the best area for all levels.
We have to fight every year to keep it open, but it is worth every effort.

Is it the local enviromentalists trying to close it? Kind of what is going on here. Due to most of the area here being for agriculture, even the police are getting involved. Fortunately, our ORV park up at Rausch Creek is not being threatened since they produce so much revenue for the state since most of the national rock crawling events come here at least once or twice a year. However, the park is about 2 1/2 hours away so it is a little inconvienent. But that place looks like a ton of fun. It is about ten bucks to wheel up here, when you say a "little money" is it about ten bucks for you too?

Yes, Junior, it is all sorts of "Green" people, and some animal protection folks.
The creeks and streams that fill the reservior are home to the Santa Ana S u c k e r (really, s u c k e r) fish, and they are concerned that we can run over the fish and kill it.
Heak, I couldn't catch one with a hook, and some bait, how in the heak am I gonna run one over?
Guess these folks have never tried to catch a fish by hand. Running one over is probably not going to happen. I can see the concern and we have made some accomodations for these little fish. Hopfully this compliance helps us out a little.
This is a reservior for drinking water, and the concern here is contamination.
Fortunatley I make my living in the water and waste water treatment game, so I have a little bit of information that helps our cause.
Entry fees are only 8 bucks, and that seems fair. I have paid far more for much less area, and this is a fun local OHV area. I have been attending this facility since I was about 5 years old, and I learned to drive in this location. My daughter also learned to drive here a few years ago. She was about the same age as I was, and she loves to hang out with Pops (me) every chance she gets.
She thinks she is a big shot because I let her drive. It is illega for her to driver at her age (now 10) but she is pretty good, and the rangers turn the other cheek so to speak.
She has a good feel for the throttle in the mud, and knows when to stand on the gas when she gets in a little bit of trouble.
I have taught her that the gas pedal is more effective than the brake pedal, and she listens.
She is not afraid of blowing an engine up (though she has not yet) probably because she has no idea how expensive they are.
Better to not make her self concious about that, and allow her to "let it rip!"
She has trouble on the rocks simply because she cant see. She drives the rock buggy with confidence, but she has much to learn in that arena.
Cool spot, and I hope that one day it will still be around so I can teach my grandbabies how to drive in that same place!

Aww, that sounds awesome. My daughter, only being three right now, loves it when daddy plays with his trucks too. Although I cannot play as roiugh as I would like to due to not having the right rigs, she gets a kick out of rocks, mud and some of what she calls "good bumps" lol.... I can see your point about the little fish, though that is a weird angle to stop you guys, but oh well. What bugs be is when they won't let us wheel on loggin trails.... claiming WE are destoying the enviroment, when in relaity, it was destroyed by commercial loggers long before we got there...lol... That was more of a concern back home in Maine, down here, there is just not to many places to go. The pics I do have and the video of playing with my Blazer, that has been closed off and is seriously patrolled with HUGE fines for wheelers.... and right now, that was the closest. I would love to buy a large parcel of land and own it myself, then play on ym own land where I can make the rules...lol... Now if I can just find the money...

water hurts alot of the time when you're going fast. lol. you need to come to GA and try out muddin in some GA red clay, that stuff absolutely will not clean out of your tires making grip harder, and its VERY slick when trying to go up hill against it
