lil off road fun (caution large pics, dial up beware)

As most of you know, I try to go 4 wheeling every weekend. I enjoy rocks, and sand, but my heart belongs in the mud. Mud is probably one of the most difficult things to navigate. Knowing your vehicle is key. Horsepower is king, and a strong drivetrain is a must. The mud can be your friend for only as long as you can stay on top.
Here are some pics, and a couple of vids for you to watch.
We had the Fords out this weekend, and I might say, the Bronco was running pretty well.

Those are 44's

The G/F drives like a girl,,,,oh wait, she is.

Oooopps, who is driving like a girl now?

When is someone gonna come out to Cali and run some mud? We have good stuff.
Gotta go pack for a trip tomorrow. Man I love this stuff!!!!

i'll come out and play with you, but you'll have to rebuild my engine first and put lockers in it and lift it and SAS it and.....................

on second thought, i'll just borrow one of your toys.

Might be a longer trip than expected if we have to re-build your red truck. We could make it real nice.
Might be easier if you jumped in one of mine.
The new Ford should be out pretty soon,,,,shhhhhh its top secret, lol.

got to love the broncos. what do you have in them. mine had a 460 and it was great to play in. i wish we had mud pits liek that around here but the only thing we have are lakes. i would play around the lakes and under the power lines but it got a little crazy when alot of people showed up. there isnt really anywhere legal for us to do that.

We play in a local off road park. This is a reservoir for water storage. It has a great deal od mud, and some fantastic hills, massive ledges that make awesome hill climbs. Since it is located in a canyon, the water run off is from the higher mountains that almost always contains rocks. There are huge rocks that naturally pile up, and some that have to be moved with large equipment.
This mud can vary from tricky quick sand, to heavy sticky mud that requires a ton of horsepower.

The Bronco runs a 400, yea, a junk 400. Actually runs pretty good, and was built to still meet california emissions. Other than that if it was exempt, it would have a 500 plus cubic inch engine in it.

Here is part of the staging area;

Here are a few shots of the Ford Gang!
I love these trucks. Might have to get rid of the K30 to help fund the new project.

My jnk stuck again. Beginning to wonder if letting the g/f drive is such a good idea.
maybe she needs a bigger truck?

My new baby looks pretty good though huh?

Poor Bronco

It most certainly looks like fun.... and this location is legal? part of the issues we have here is legalities to go wheelin.... but I would love just see that playing in person, wouldn't even need to wheel! LOL.... anyways, which one is yours again? the red and white fords with the swampers?
