as you see by my avatar and the screen name... i used to have a 1979 x4... now i have a 1989 4x4 that needs a few small things appearance wise, but not to make it a show truck. a truck for my purposes will be used for hauling and getting around in places a car aint gonna go plus as a daily driver for me. at any rate... here is a link to my photobucket with a few pics of the truck as i was getting it from previous owner... Nebraskachickenfarmer/1989 Chevy 4x4 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting the truck has trans that was rebuilt less than 200 miles ago, a GM Goodwrench 350 dropped in it, and only cost me $500. i wanna get the grille replaced, get some better tires but nothing mush different than what is on it now, and figure out a way fr buckets instead of the bench in it... it will be a truck put to use and not for show, but i will havesome fun modding the engine a lil bit adding headers, and duals to each side instead of to one side... lemme know what you all think of it... i am just happy i will be behind the wheel of a truck again...

How can you go wrong for that kind of money? You have a nice truck there, and it is 4wd. Wish I could run accross some deals like that.

where'd you steal that from? the engine/trans is probably worth more than that. the guy could have got more for the truck by scr.apping it. oh well, your gain!

well... the engine is blowing smoke out the exhaust and seems to be running rich and not oil or water burning.... the person that did the install left a few things not hooked up and i hooked a few things up already which seemed to help. the truck just isnt wanted and i hope to give it a good home where it can be put to use and appreciated. i think to myself that some vehicles have feelings and feel unwanted when they sit for a few months with a for sale sign on them... another thing... i was wondering if i should leave the shell on it and also trying to come up with a name for it...any help for the last 2 questions would be appreciated...
