Outrageous!... I think Ok, so I got a really good deal on a practically new set of super swamper TSL's size 36x12.50X15. I also picked up a set of 10 inch steel wheels for $75. These were gonna go on my 78 k10, but I needed to get them mounted and balanced. I called the tire shop that I've been doing business with here lately, but they said that they couldn't handle a tire that big. They did refer me to a shop that deals with big tires, but they want $20 apiece to mount them on the rims, plus $15 apiece to put some kind of liquid in them to balance them. Is this a reasonable price? it seems kinda strange to spend $140 to get them ready to use, as I only paid $300 for the set. Also, anyone had any experience with this liquid balance stuff? I'm just looking for some input on this situation. Thanks.

Hey I'll give you 300 for the tires right now I've got the rims I just need the rubber!!! lol No I have no experince with that stuff... but I do have an old mounter and balancer that'll handle 40's... Man I wish I could find a deal like that up here but it's hard to find good deals... I can find anything I'm looking for but the price people want for it is normally out of this world...

mounting 36in tires should not be hard. on the other hand, on a 15in rim might prove to be fun using tire bars.
