| hmmmm. i'm not sure of the physics of this, with the back weighing significantly less, it will somehow affect the ride quality with add a leafs back there. just not sure if it would make it much worse, or possibly not much more noticeable than it is now. i'm thinking that the lack of weight in the back will make it harder to compress the springs so you'll feel the bumps alot more. but honestly, not sure. i just no on my buddies jeep with AAL's it was terrible riding in that thing

| Your 4x4 already has a block in the back. What is the size of this block? If you have a 2 inch blok you can easily install a slightly larger block in the back to achieve the desired ride heigth. The factory used anywhere from 1 to 4 inch blocks in the back so finding the correct one would be easy to do. Salvage yards are full of them and you can get them cheap. You will drop about 40 bucks for new u-bolts though. This will provide you with the same ride you have now. You dont want to add anything taht will hinder your suspension performance. Shackle flips are an option as well, and then you can eliminate the block in the rear and still gain some lift. Lots of low dollar options here. |
