1979 Ford Courier 4x4 Brahma (56K beware)

I've been working on a 1979 Ford Courier 4x4 Brahma and I recently stopped working on it because it needs a good bit done and I don't have the tools/time/money to fix it. It had a back bed. It had came with a 2.3L engine in it but it has a 2.5L engine from a Ford Ranger in it. I am wondering if anyone heard about these trucks and should I keep working on it little by little or just sell the thing?

I got more pictures of the restoration process.

Restore but also a 4x4 a little bit.

I don't know. I just want a 4X4 right now. I know this thing is pretty rare for the model conversion...I think.

if you want a toy with a little resto, id say do it. got yourself a good light weight vehicle there. with the right engine and gears, it ought to slide right across the mud like a sheet of glass.

Yea, I'm thinking about keeping it but I haven't had it running in awhile and I don't want the engine to lock up. It needs a good bit of work...and I don't know if I should just get this thing running instead of getting another 4x4.

I will put more pictures of the restoration process on here tonight.

I also heard the boy who had this truck say that when it's in 4 Low, it moves very slow (like granny low)...

I don't know if the Brahma company is open anymore. I see more people have the Courier Sasquatch.

that is a neat truck you got there. it is going to take alot of work and money. not sure if you would be better off in the long run to just buy yourself a new platform.

What engine is that in my Courier? I know it's a Ford Ranger but what year? I couldn't find the serial number to see.

Also, where can I get regular diamond plate at?
