Mainly just the brakes and suspension including your axles to make sure all is safe and going to lose a wheel going down the highway, or be able to stop when you need to.

OK!
Been a pain today.
Took awhile to get her running cause of the carb.
Got to town, it died. No gas. Got gas cranked it up took it to the mechanic which was 2 blocks away.

Found out one of my steering links is loose. Told the guy I wanted my rotors turned, and my new brakes put on them, fix the steering, fix the brakes, and set the carbuerator. He said it's going to take some time doing that stuff.

MAYBE IT WON'T COST ME ALOT OF MONEY!!!!!!

Just be sure to tell him you are on a very limited budget, and you need to know costs up front before he starts the work on each section. This way he does not hold your truck ransom and put a mechanics lein on it in the event you don't have all the funds.

****. I didn't do that! I knew I should. I was thinking of it but I can pay him over time. He let me before when my Ranger needed a brake job.

Well, I went down there this morning. He was working on another truck. Looked like he had other vehicles to work on. He told me that they couldn't get my truck cranked up to work on it and he said it may be a major problem.

...It's the carburetor. It ran out of gas when I got in town and I put like 2 gallons in it. I can get it fired up. You just have to play with the carburetor. Plus the spark plugs and wires haven't been changed... heh....heh....HEH.

Anyways, he told me they put gas in it to try to crank it but it didn't want to. So I told him to work on it when he can and that I'm on a tight budget (Thanks HotRodPC- Elly May sends her appreciation to you).

I bet Elly does. She has more time with you since you are not playing truck. I asked a girl to come over and play trucks with me in the backyard the other night. We never made it to the backyard and played DR instead. I think I will call her back up and invite her over again to play trucks again. I think she's just using me. What a shame.

Uh oh, Elly May just heard about that and she ain't gunna have that. She said, let me put it in her words, "DAGGUM IT THAT SON OF A HAG, I'm gunna rip out his sack! How dare he cheat on me with some scalawag who is just a peice of trash?!? Wait til I get on him with my gun and my coon dog, he gunna know who his woman is! I be dog gone it... *couple curse words in there*"

She upset man. If I were you, I go on the Witness Protection system. She just left in her Model T with the coon dog on the back and the gun firing in the air.

Well..
after one week and a half. He is finally fixing to work on my truck! Yay.
He said the carb. seems to be adjusted ok and that it runs well. I told him it just seems like it doesn't want to start right sometimes. He said it may be the fuel pump but he said the fuel pump was pumping. It could have been just low of gas..lol.
He said he is going to put it on the lift this evening.
He said the brakes is going to be the major work but I told him I changed them except the front cause of the hubs. I told him I want the disc turn and put the new brakes on.
I also told him about the steering and he said the steering on these trucks goes bad sometime. He said he had to change the gear box on one like mine. But I know the linkage is loose on the tie rod ends.. I think. The steering wheel column is loose as well, as yall have seen in pictures.

MAYBE I WILL GET IT FIXED SOON AND I CAN WORK ON IT!
BTW, I know there is alot of "HE SAID'S" LMAO
Thanks guys...and ladies.....
