we used to have a suzuki 500 quad and they are driven by a rubber belt no matter what we could never get it water tight
when the belt gets wet you gotta take the machine aparat and either let it air dry or blow dry it because it will just slip lol
we put our boat in then back out and when i pull out of the water it slips everytime there should also be a drain for it

its a shatty design..... they sealed the thing with rtv from the factory, put about 8 bolts around it.... but then routed a breather tube that goes up and under the seat i guess for cooling purposes possibly..... well they never put a drain plug on it... so if you emergency dive the thing like it was a submarine guess what..... it fills with water and you have no way to drain it except take it apart..... the other retarded thing i find is growing up racing snowmobiles in ny.... and when i say raced it was a different race every weekend from the time i was 14-19....regardless a snowmobile has the same clutch set up as a automatic quad.... I've blown belts.... i mean straight up hard excellerating and pop either the engine winds down hard cause the belt wrapped itself around the drive clutch or she would just rev like there's no tomarrow..... well on a sled its a 10 min affair changing out a belt.... why the **** would the wheeler manufactureres make you need a small tool chest just to get to a drive belt.... i mean that should be as easy to access as a spark plug..... just retarded.... next wheeler i buy will be somethin like i used to have as a kid a 95 big bear 400 or a 96 kodiak 600..... easy to work on, you had to shift them which was more fun anyways and more reliable

no but it sits there and runs fine untill you ride it over a period of time...... other problem is its acting like like she wants to take off in gear like the clutch is engaging at too low of an rpm
