You ever played Monopoly? You know used your Get out of Jail FREE card for the truck, now when you Pass, right around the corner from Boardwalk, you collect $200, if you don't land on the Luxury Tax.

Well just got back in from work and wanted to see if it would crank up.

First try. Wammo! It ran. It just needs setting I think.

It still seems like it needs to be worked on though.

Well I sent it to another mechanic. These Mexican guys. My mom sent her stuff to them before and so did my brother (my brother said they ain't used to his car though- reckon because of the electrical stuff- IDK). My mom says they are good though. So I am going to try them. They came and picked it up for me. They drove it down there to their shop.

The guy said hes going to take apart my carb and see if everything is together in it.

They all were looking at my rims because the lug nuts off of my cousins truck had wore the lug nuts hole up. LOL. (I got the rims and tire from my cousin). They are off a 90's Ford 1 f150. lol.

He told me he might get new lug nuts for em or I am.

Ok, maybe they can fix my truck.

Told them to fix the steering, turn my front rotors and put on my new pads, and adjust my carb. I got $200 saved for them to start on it. Hopefully it won't cost much!

Huh? Lol. I didn't understand the last part.

I just went by their shop and didn't see my truck. Hopefully they didn't go try to bog with it. Lol.

I didn't see it outside unless they have it in the shop.

Maybe they can get it fixed fast!

OH C'mon Erwin. You don't get that? If anyone CAN, a Mexi--CAN. You got enough frijoles, that truck will be doing a wheel stand when you get it back. Jose, Juan and Pepe will probably do a goot jop on your truck'e. Them boys can do alot more than bend taco's. I am certain they will better care of you than these other yahoooos have done. Certainly can't be any worse.

Ok, went by the Mex-He-Cans today to see if they started on it. He said it was just him and another worker and that they will look at it tomorrow.

He kept pointing out about my rims, lol, about how the lugs on my cousins old truck wore the lug nut area out on the rim. I just told him I will just get wider lug nuts. He said ok.

He seems ok, it's just I can't understand his accent sometimes. I have to keep asking him, "Do what?".

I told him over again about what I want done. He told me he can take apart the carb and check it and get a rebuilding kit again if I have to. I told him it might just needs to be set and he said yeah it might just be that.

I told him about the rotors and I want them turned and that I want the new brake pads put on because I did rest of the brakes myself. He said ok.

I told him about the steering and told him the stuff that might need to be looked over. I showed him how the linkage at the pitman arm moved and asked him if it was suppose to move like it did and he said no. He said those things usually wear out over time and need to be replace. The whole thing.
--------------

After talking about it, he started asking me questions.
Who you get this truck from?
Are you going to fix it up?
How much did you buy this truck for?

And he told me he had a bed but it was a long bed. I need a short bed. He was like "the 351m is a strong engine", and I said "some people think it sucks".
I told em these trucks are strong and built good and tough. He said yeah.

Lol, I think he is interested in the truck lol!
