need help with lift project

I currently own a 2000 chevy silervado 1500 2wd : (. I didn't care so much about 2wd vrs. 4wd when I got it but I sure regret it. Anyways I have been lifting the truck for the **** of it. Got a 3 inch body lift, 3 inch lift spindles, 2inch leveling kit, and 3 inch blocks in the back. I should have bought the suspension kit but did not. The truck doesnt look like its been lifted but 4 inches. Im trying to figure out why and what I can do to make it taller? Would lift springs work?

dont know if they even make a lift that big suspension wise. i think the most for a 2wd has been 4 inches. lift springs may lift the back but what are you going to do about the front?? you might be going about this all the wrong way. one, get away from the blocks. that will do nothing but put you on edge and put you off the edge when that axle begins to roll. depending on your funds, you can try taking it to a specialty shop and seeing about a custom lift. yeah its only a 2wd but would it be more expensive than getting a 4wd and putting a cheaper than that lift on it??

Yea, I figured it so. I'm probably going to sell it and go with a 4wd.

actually rough country sells a 6 inch lift for 2 wheel drive trucks......i put it on mine and it runs great just go like 40 through the mud holes and add a **** load of weight to your back axles like something in your bed to add weight....huge tires also are a plus
