Hey so i want to build a rock crawler frame from scratch but i cant find any designs or blue prints that i could get ideas off of. Does anyone know of any sites i can look at so i can get an idea of how to make it?

try powerblocktv.com....... they may have them............ how serious are you wanting to get? like a tube buggy, or a truggy, or tube frame with some jeep bodu panels hung on it??? what are you thinking for power, and what are you looking for in drivetrain? 350,turbo400, atlas 2 transfercasew/ twin stick setup, dana 60 front, 14 bolt rear lockers in both??????and what about suspension? these are all questions that you need to consider when you begin to build your own tube frame for a rock crawler......... put some serious planning in, and get a great rig from it......... as for where you want to get plans from, are you looking for inspiration, or blue print, folow to the letter type of thing......

Im not too serious rite now. Im just kinda wondering what kind of designs there are. Its for when i get board i can go out and weld stuff together.

well, i was told that to get a good offroad rig built, it'll take about 90 percent planning, and 10 percent doing................... a few weeks ago, the powerblocktv guys put a 1 seat buggy together and talked about how they got their plans....... you may look it up and find out......

powerblocktv is that whole set of shows. i think extreme 4X4 is more of what you are looking for. that guy, and girl, are real knowledgable on that show. that s10 truggy project was awesome.
