| 5 lug to 8 lug conversion. I have a 1977 ford F150 with a Dana 44 1/2 ton axle. The rear axle has been changed from a 9" to a Dana 60 8 lug. I want to change my front axle to 8 lug so i don't have to run two separate rims. I have read many forums that really don't really give a straight answer. What parts do i need to do this? |

| I am running a 77 front axle in my bronco. you need to find a 3/4 ton ford, 1979 0r older and get every thing from the knuckle out. the brake rotor is bigger so you need caliper bracket, spindle, caliper, and rotor. lock outs and axle tips are the same. hope this helps. ![]() |
