what size tires are you running? I've always found that a stock motor is more relable than a built up motor. With the 351 if you running a pretty big tire you will be running the motor at its upmost output. Where as with the 460 your not starving yourself for power. Did somebody say grills, kegs, and women?!!!!!

best solution is 2 trucks, a daily driver, and a play toy

Yep, I agree with Leo, I already made that suggestion too. Work truck, grocery getter, date truck, and then the Fo buh Fo toy.

Notice how quick the Floridan gets to the important stuff.

We tend to have short attention spans and tunnel vision!

My Danger Ranger ain't a date getter. She got a dent the side of her. She got tiny wheels but she can roll out pretty fast.

Well the truck has 36's on a 90's Ford F150 rim (I need new rims. Lol. Like I told yall in another thread about the lug holes are wore out but I'm keeping the lugs checked though).

I want to run bigger tires though. I say 38's or higher.

If I can find a 460. My brother wants my 351M and put it in his 84 Ford F150 4x4 with 38's with granny 3 spd. He has a straight 6 in it right now.

My truck has a C6 but I would love to put a 3spd granny in it.

But I heard the 460 can bolt right up to the C6 but I need engine mounts.

Someone said the 460 can't.

CAN ANY 460 FIT?

Or Talk to 75K30, but I think he flew the coop. Have't seen a current post from him a while. I just sold an old FE Truck Block C6 core for $100. Its my understanding those are getting a bit rare now. I try not to keep that breed of parts around here, but I was sure happy to get a $100 out of the boat anchor. Now I have a 302, and this is sad. It was a marine boat engine. Looks great other than the biggo crack in the block cuz someone didn't drain the water off last winter. Good Rods, crank and .020 over pistons though, and heads.

A little JB Weld and some paint it'd be as good as new... maybe better.
