Screaming Again

The 04 Disco has a shimmy between 35-40mph. Just installed lift kit(susp), new brake lines, different drive shafts, etc. about 6 months ago. I can't figure it out, might as well send it back to service department and use warranty while it lasts....LOL Any thoughts on this. Balanced tires, checked u-joints, fluids good, grease good, bearings good. SCREAMING AGAIN!!!!

I've seen bad tires cause an evil shimmy. Check to see if you have a belt that may have slipped or a tire that's wearing funny.

Thought about that also. They have already picked it up and will trouble shoot. If it is tires, I'll be able to get BIGGER ones. I just didn't have time to mess with it this weekend, got way to much on my plate as it is. Hopefully my husband will be home some time in October. That will help out alot.

Service center just called. They say everything is good and suspect tires. Toyo's are supposed to last longer right? Well, I guess this is excuse to get new, bigger tires.

Just a thought but... You have a steering stabilizer on the truck, right? And it's good?

The service dept changed the dampener this morning. Then test drove it again. Changed out some other bushings on the steering. Test drive. Checked gearing, etc. That's when they pointed at tires. I'm glad I don't have to pay these guys. LR warranties are great!!!!!
