| Some people use degree shims with thier leaf packs. I do nto agree with this method, unless... You weld it real good to the spring perch. I cut the spring perch off and weld in a new one at the proper angle.

| Its a matter of driveline angle you should look at shimming the rear axle and lowering the transfer case. If this does not help you may have to look at a cv driveshaft. On the note of shims please tell me your not getting all that lift with blocks if so they are not safe look into a lifted spring from a good company like superlift. Most aftermarket lifted spings have a shim welded to the spring. Basicly you want to point the pinon up at the xfer case and drop the case to reduce the angle of the shaft. Also you have to keep in mind that if the diff is pointed up too far you will not keep enough grease on the gears. |

| This is kinda what you want to shoot for with a c.v. shaft it allows for a steeper angle this is the optimum set up. Talk to the guys above they will be able to help you out. If your on 1/2 ton axles and get this fixed next is axle probs. The u-joint is always the weak link and those are some monster tires. ![]() |
