| With fords it fairly easy. a lot of the years used the same stuff so all you need is a donor truck with all the parts and its a dirrect swap. Take 4x2 off and put 4x4 on. I am prety sure it is like that from like 70ish up to 95ish any way. That goes for F series and ranger. I read some guy took a late 80's 4x2 ranger and used a doner Bronco II 4x to make the ranger 4x4. As fot other makes I'm not sure. |

| Still requires quite a bit of fabrication. Mounts have to be cut and welded, Alot depends on year too and if you are going solid axle or with the ford f250 independant mess they used before they went to a fully independant like chevy on their lighter duty trucks.
