| Thanks!! I busted my shocks off and now I have a leak in the Tcase. Lost my tie rod and have some battery issues. I have my work cut out for me for awhile now

| What happened with the tie-rod? Break the rod itself, or snap a TRE? Gonna stay with your current set up, or move up to big rod ends? I have a decent source for rod ends and F911 bolts. Busted shock mounts? Tops or bottoms? Too bad about the case. Why the leak? Cracked? Maybe it is time for double cases huh? |

| I didn't break my tie rod end, I lost the nut that holds it onto the steering knuckle. I'm gonna keep my setup for now, and get the IFS rear axle so that I have 3" wider in the rear. I made my shock mounts like days before the trip, and I busted one of them, then busted the shock off the other one, so one shock got broken, and the other mount got broken so I had to take the shock off. I didn't even have rear shocks at the beginning of the trip, so that was my mistake. The case leaks because of the lack of a gasket between the OTT Adapter between the transmission and the divorced transfercase. I had a gasket in it that got ultrasaturated that just flowed like a river, so I took the gasket out and put RTV in it's place. I drove it on the street at 50+ mph and that rattled it enough to make it leak again. I do plan on getting Marlin Crawler 4:70 gears for my tcase, but I'm HOPING to avoid using the divorced setup for too much longer. I want to throw in a 22RE or newer engine into the Migo. This will allow me to use the Toyota transmission so that the Tcase doesn't have to be divorced. If I can get it set up like that, I may not have the driveline issues that I've been having.

| No welders on any of the rigs? You guys are getting to the point where at least one welder is gonna be a good idea. I am sure you already know this, but be carefull with a knuckle that has had a loose TRE. Loose TRE's can make the tappered hole oblong. This will not allow the seat to be set properly, and will result in a break. I am sure you are aware of this. Again too bad about the leak, but I do not recall if thise actually had a gasket at all. I am thinking that they did not, but regrdless, the Yota gear is gonna be the way to go. You are gonna love the crawler case. That rear axle will be a plus. What are you gonna do to widen the front, and how much are you gonna lengthen it up? |

| Nope, no welders. The plan is to lengthen 10 more inches in the rear. There's no more room in the front, but I can extend the frame in the front and move the front axle up a couple inches.

| Time for a complete yota frame! Need one? I have an 83 long bed that would be perfect for cutting up. Since you are gonna install a yota drivetrain, this might be the way to go. This way you would start off with a long frame and cut it down, instead od a short one, and extending it. Truck has not moved in years. Does have a 14B out back and a D60 up front, but I am going to hang onto those. Could work something out if you can use it. At least all of the mounts and everything would be there. Thought anyway. |

| I have a complete yota sittin in my side yard... it's just that putting the Migo on a yota frame would be funkkkkyyyyyy. Not to mention how bad it will be off centered, but that's an option I've been considering
