Amigo Update!!!

Well, a lot has happened since I updated so I figured I'd start another thread for it. I went to the Rubicon again and this time went all the way through. Boy that was fun and stressful. Due to not having gears nor shocks, it was quite a ride.

I put in 4 rock lights (2 of which I broke on the trip), a cb, cut and hacked at the fenders and firewall a bit, welded on a truss on my front axle, and a bunch of little odds and ends. While on the trail, I dropped my front driveshaft so I had to rebuild one right there on the trail with a longer slipyoke.

Here's some pics

Oh, and after all that's done, i'm gonna swap in a toyota motor from a mid 90's tacoma so I can run a toyota transmission and married transfer case so i'll have room to run the crawler

Nope, as short as the Migo is, it's not better. I have set it down on the tailgate before. I wouldn't do that if it was longer

Just a lil update :-) These are from my trip last week through the Rubicon.

First trail fix, he just jumped out with the hammer and started hammering away... it was annoying when the tire was rubbing on the quarter.. and he was the rig in front of me

Know where this is?
