Ford used the same engines as their cars too.

Fordin Mazda will become famous soon enough
I had to pick Mazda, as it is my first truck. But if I aint drivin a Mazda, then I'm drivin a Ford.

It's hard to kill the 300i6, but its harder to kill a B-Series engine.

My F150 has over 324,000 kilometers, and my Mazda has over 400,000 kilometers.

Well I would have to say I am a Ford man at heart, However at this time I own three Chevys. An 88 s10 2.8 litre and two 78 4x4 niether with engines. One will end up with a 350 boneyard probably. Please dont hate me for this be the S-10 will end up with a Ford small block when it is done, no hate for chevys honestly just something I have always wanted to do. Besides people put SBC's in old Fords all the time not to often do you see it the other way around.

Tom: It was a great day when I unloaded my 2.8L S10.

I traded it & a 70's camper for a 14' Aluminum boat & a 6hp motor. I paid $150 for the truck and $200 for the camper. I sold the boat & motor for $900..

Talking Fords are better than Chevys

People only like CHevys because parts are cheap and plentyful ...Due to all the ones in the junk yards

I do prefer Ford vehicles but the Chevys are so much easier to diagnose and work on most the time. When a Ford desides to break they can be a real PITA to figure out, not that a Chevy cant be but Fords are usually more complex.
Tom
PS, no Ford do not break more often, I have had my share of both really no difference in reliablity.

well, we just replaced the water pump, water pump pulley, and fan clutch on a 6.0 powerstroke, my dads pride and joy. the pully got completely tore up, but fords do take alot of abuse. chevys, nothing rong with old ones, imo, the suspension system sucks on the newer ones, and i dont like the sound of the wimpy duracrap thats under the hood.

The Pictures speak louder than words. But I like Ford.

My 1994 F150 300i6 has almost 325,000 kilometers on it, and still runs like a champ. no rust, and the only issue is I need to replace the ERG valve.

I had a 1990 Chevy S10 2.8L V6 4x4 with 175,000 Kilometers, More rust than truck, the syncro gears gave up the ghost, and to get it into 4H I had to hit the front diff with a BFH. The engine was the stuttering and bucking and farting. Finally I got PO'd and traded it for a 14' Aluminum boat.
