still lookin for tires

Putting 33-11.5-16s on my lifted 99 quad cab 1500. Strongly thinking about bfg AT KOs. But also looking at nitto terra grapplers, toyo open country and a few others. any suggestions on brand and model, kinda tread mileage your getting and whatnot would be great.

thanks

andy

my bfg's do great on the road. they've been on for a good while and still have plenty of tread. off-road they dont suit my needs

I have never heard anything but praise on the BFG's They wear great decent on the noise. No experience with the nittos but the toyos also great tires will not last as long as the BFG

almost no noise from the bfg's on my jeep. i have a/t's but down here in GA just about all offraoding involves lots of mud and sticky red clay and them bfg's just dont clear (but then again they aren't made for all mud) all in all i like them and would strongly reccomend them for a daily driver with some off-road usage

the 35 nittos on my rig have very little noise come from them. they do okay but have not had them long enough to tell you about wear.

A good tire that i had on my 04 dakota was Brdgestones Dueler REVO they were great on the road even in rain and not to bad off raod got through some deep snow with them also. they wore really good thats wasnt a fullsize truck though so i dont how they would be on a heavier truck. good luck

I have those same tires on my blazer, and though I had only used them off road once, I agree handled fine, however, as far as the wear rate... I have to strongly disagree with that... Mine were brand new last april and only one year and 18,000 miles later, I need another set. So I think they they are way to soft and wear out way to fast for the money.
