| My problem is that when I press the brake my turn signal lights come on as well. Therefore when I put on a turn signal it flashes but as soon as I press the brake to stop my turn signal stops flashing and as soon as i let go of the brake its start flashing again. It is not a real big problem it's just really annoying. Can anybody help me out its just i don't know where to start looking when I have an electric problem. Thanks. |

| first place to start is make sure you have all correct bulbs and fuzes. then you start chasing wires

| Thanks I will check that tonight but I didn't know that a wrong fuse or bulb would make a difference. |

| This should be an easy fix since all years of all models of all brands are wired exactly the same. Seriously, you might get better responses from those of us bad memeory types if you include the info on which truck with the question. |

| With my B2200, I have traced the problem with my tail lights to the switch. I dont know if the switch on the 4000 is the same as the 2200's. But you might want to start there, and work back.

| Ok I found the fuse that was blowned I replaced it with a new one and my rear lights worked again but as soon as pulled the light switch it blow off again. I think there is a short circuit or something in my rear lights. Maybe my sockets. Anyways I'll check that tonight. |

| I looked at my problem more closely during my break and you are probably right about the switch. Thanks for everything and I'll tell you if you were right. |
