7.3L powerstroke turbo diesel
10" 100% suspension fabtech lift kit
39.5" tires on 16" custom alloy wheels
full k&n air intake system and after market dual exhaust
Fully loaded (leather, power windows, mirrors, locks, seat)
full bed liner
Upgraded JL Audio speakers in all 4 doors.
DP Tuner Chip with 6 programs (adds 130 hp and 225 lb ft of torque)
this monster puts out an estimated 425-450 hp and 800-850 lb ft torque using conservative numbers. this truck SCREAMS! it still averages over 20 mpg on the highway. diesel may be high right now... but the mileage on this truck makes up for it. i added the chip when i got it. dp tuner chips are by far the best for diesel trucks. improves performance, mileage, and engine life.

i've only had the truck a few months. i've got way too many vehicles... that is the only reason i'm selling it. i drove it back from florida to indiana in march with no issues. as soon as i got it back i flushed and replaced all fluids. the sway bar links were a little loose, so i had those replaced as well.

the truck is incredibly solid. runs perfectly and drives straight down the road with no rattles or noises. it definitely drives like a truck though, especially with the lift kit! the interior is in great shape. the paint has a few light scratches on it... being a truck it just gives it some character! nothing signficant down to the metal. just scratches on the clear coat.

it currently has 105k miles and some change. it's a diesel... (easily has 200k+ miles left on it.)

as far as price - i'll be honest here - i paid $17,750 for the truck 3 months ago and got one heck of a deal. i spent $600 on the chip, and over $1k with a few little things getting it up to par - new sway bar links, new glow plug relay, all new fluids, including oil change, few other small odds and ends - light bulbs, etc...

so, that said, and only putting on 3k miles since purchasing it, i'm looking to get out of it just what i paid for it. i'm not hurting for money... just looking to get down to 3 or 4 vehicles... also thinking about selling the mustang.

so, $17,750 takes the truck. if you want one bad truck, here you go. everyone stops and stares... everyone looks at you... it's fun.

let me know if interested and i'll supply more pictures.

not sure how often i'll be on here... so email me if you're interested - chpcampb@yahoo.com

I hate to burst your bubble, but there is no way you are putting down those horsepower/torque numbers on just the dp tuner and k&n intake. Might want to lower it down to about 320/550.... Just an FYI, would hate to see someone buy it expecting that and then have it come back on you...

sorry to burst YOUR bubble... but i'm gonna have to inform you that you're not too bright. the last production 7.3 powerstroke puts out 275 hp and 525 tq. STOCK. - Ford Power Stroke engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

the dp tuner alone adds 120 hp and 215 on the high performance setting... dyno tested.

that puts us at 395 hp and 740 torque. factor in the intake and full exhaust and the numbers go up even more. i'm a gear head... i've got a 520 hp roush mustang that i built and a 658 hp viper... i know what i'm talking about.

now... if you're talking about ratings at the wheels... then we may be talking 350-375 hp and 700-725 tq... still a far cry from what you claim. my original claims were at the crank... which as i said, are conservative.

now go pollute someone elses thread... thank you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... think what you will but that is not accurate. Have you ever read DP's disclaimer... 140 hp WITH SUPPORTING MODS!!!! and that doesn't include just an exhaust and intake!!

There is NO way you are making that kind of power at the wheels or crank on the stock turbo.. End of story! If you dont believe me do some research!

dude... considering 275/525 are stock numbers... you're an idiot. i'm simply trying to sell a vehicle here so go bother somebody else. the truck is fast... its a bad truck. thats all that matters.

hahahahaha. Hey whatever makes you sleep at night....

Truth is you are lying! That is false advertising to an unsespecting buyer! I don't care what the "stock" numbers say and how you want to add the math for your upgrades! That truck is not putting out that much power. On a stock turbo with PMR tunes (do you even know what PMR means... You should since you are a gearhead) from DP-tuner you will be lucky to have 350 (and that is being generous!!! more like 325) at the crank, and that is if you are running a boost fooler to get over 25 PSI out of the turbo without the PCM defueling it..... The stock turbo cannot support the amount of air needed to burn the amount of fuel needed to be running 425 horsepower!

But you are a "gearhead" so I'm sure you already knew all of that...

Is that how you added the numbers for your stang and viper.. that advertised number for bolt ons too?

Just cause you got caught trying to hype up a truck that isnt that impressive isn't my fault. I'm simply trying to make sure other members here don't fall for your BS. So why don't you go and bother someone else!

And honestly I wasn't trying to be rude with my first post.

#1 saying i'm not too bright
#2 calling me an idiot.

that just don't fly with me.

I don't care who you think you are (probably a regular internet tough guy). I actually know my stuff when it comes to these trucks, and unlike you I don't need to resort to name calling to get my points across. I use the facts!!!!

you need to lose the attitude and show a little respect. JW was not trying to say your dumb or anything. he was just trying to be nice and share some of his knowledge he has aquired from modifying his own diesel engine.

Big Tone is on a distinguished road
Lets see...... 39.5 tires 10 inches of lift 450 horsepower and it gets 20 miles to the gallon.

I think i will call BS on that!

haha... i've got the attitude when he's the one that felt the need to pollute a thread. i'm trying to sell a truck. niiiiiiiiiiiiiice. the professional thing to do would be to call me out in a pm if he thinks i'm full of it.

dp tuner DYNO TESTED on a stock 7.3 with an increase of 105/175... at the wheels obviously... again, COMLETELY stock application with just the dp tuner chip.

thats an increase of a good 120/200+ at the crank... so if you wanna call the dyno a liar, be my guest.

factor in the intake and turbo back exhaust and the numbers go even higher. again, call the dyno a liar all you want. i haven't dyno tested my truck... but seeing a stock, early production 7.3 put down those kind of numbers with just a chip, i would say its safe to assume mine would be doing the same if not better.

as for the gas mileage - bigger tires = better gas mileage. rpms are below 1500 at 75 mph.

Gotta say, that I find this an interesting read.
I dont think JW was off base with his post. IN the original post the term "estimated" horsepower figures was used, and I feel JW stated that the figures were a little inflated. I even agree that 800 ft lbs is a little over the top, and 450 hp (even at the crank) is probably a little on the wishfull side.
I do have a (now shop truck, used to be a personal ride before I turned it over to the shop) and it has a 6 position DP tuner chip (40,60, 80, 120, 140) AFE intake, non waste gated van turbo w/ATS housing and aftermarket wheel, 4" mandrel bent SS exhaust, Full fuel mods, AIH delete, ITP boost regulator, and more.
This truck pulls 336hp/696 ft lbs. Those are not estimated, those are real Dyno numbers. I Dyno everything that I have.
Jody Tipton is the man when it comes to custom tunes, but to get those numbers, the engine is going to need some additional help. Most powerstroke owners are aware of this, and it only appears that JW was making the OP aware as well.
Looks as though perhaps the OP purchased this truck with these large horsepower figures, and perhaps the OP is a little disappointed that the vehicle may not be making the expected, or estimated power. Always is a bummer when that happens.
Advertised horsepower is good for bench racing, but when the rubber meets the highway, the only way to know for sure is to get it on the Dyno.

Good luck selling that truck.
