| EGR Flow Insufficient I have a 96 B3000. Has a slight rough idle and the code reader gave me P0401 which is Egr Flow Insufficient. I replaced that and cleared the code. Slight idle still there and code P0401 is back. Plugs and plug wires are recent. Fuel filter maybe? What should i check next? Thanks. |

| you will want to clean it with throttle body cleaner. You can usually clean the old ones.spray it and keep working the valve so it moves in and returns by itself.Spay the ports when the truck is running. I use a whole can on that |

| The best way to do it is too just pull the manifold off and clean the passages. the carbon is very hard, and would like cause internal engine damage if the chunks were allowed to travel through the motor..
