| i bought these back in Jan. from JcWhitney and they are starting to rust already. it's not surface rust from the salt during winter. the rust is bubbling through the paint, which means the idiots at the factory painted over the rust. there's not even a primer under the paint. why do all my good deals turn out to be bad in the end? ![]()

| yeah there is a reason why JC Whitney is ussually the cheapest. Your original "good deal" is only going to cost you more in the long run. its the old saying, ya get what ya pay for. Not trying to be a jerk, but its the honest truth.

| Have you tried calling them to see if they would make it right? I know they gave you a bad product in the first place, but maybe they are willing to replace it.

| DITO! What kind of steps are they.I bought some that didn't cost to much on ebay but something like that I wanted to get aluminum or stainless last much longer |

| got salt up here in the winter, stainless wouldn't last through the winter.

| mud you are going to have to call them and talk to cust. serv. and complain and tell them if they don't correct it you will tell everyone you know never to buy from them

| you mean like i did with Herculiner, didn't work that time, doubt it will this time. finally got some of my tax return money, so i'll probably us some of it to have these powder coated.
