About once a year...

About once a year I get this craving and I have to satisfy it. It normally comes late in the evening and it has total control over me. I find myself heading out to Krystal and getting 8 of those little Krystal burgers and a coke. Normally I eat reasonably healthy foods so it won't cause me to get fat or have a heart attack. While I'm eating them I can feel myself getting full around the forth burger but I don't stop until the bag is empty. I even look over the empty boxes to make sure I didn't screw up the count and leave one uneaten.

Now I'm having the after effects. I feel totally bloated and my belly is as tight as a ripe mellon. The sensation is uncomfortable but at the same time deeply satisfying. It's one of those pleasure/pain things like eating hot peppers or doing yard work. I'll probably feel all sluggish tomorrow and I think it's that feeling that makes these Krystal binges only a once a year thing for me.

Oh for you Yankees, Krystal is like White Castle only better. Don't argue this one. It says so in the scriptures.

Nah moo. Krystal and whit castle are the ones that have those tiny burgers (called sliders)

it takes atleast 4 to make a dent in peoples appetite...

Ahhh ok, so 8 is like two normal burgers then.

I just looked up the calories and it takes about three and a half Krystals to equal one Big Mac. I ate over 1,300 calories in one meal last night and another 600 or so earlier in the day. Not the diet of champions I know. It's a weakness of mine. Like I said above, I can't stop it. But the feeling today that I'm wearing leg-weights will put it off until next year.

never heard of krystal's but I know I'm a die hard White Castle guy but they dont have them here in nebraska so I dont get to eat 'em anymore.
when I lived in Minneapolis I lived 2 blocks away from one and I'd get the late nite craving also

yup thats a Krystal burger in that pic. i'm from indiana and loved white castle but i have to settle with krystals here in florida

Chiles and Bennigans here in TEXAS has those on there menu four come in your order (THE DUKE) or JohnWayne try the fried mushrooms at Bennigans there less than $5.00 dollars and there SUPER shoot I will probably die from cancer anyways first or from taking all my pain pills for my back so live it up.
