| I would stick with AC Delco plugs. Also I am a big Royal purple fan. Although I run dino in my truck as it has 173k on it and only has ever run dino. I heard somewhere that you should just stick to what the truck runs on especially with some miles on it. But on the other hand I run Royal in my other cars and it lasts a long time. |

| Bestop extendable mirrors, seen them for 150 or so. fit 88-98 classic trucks |

| Thanks, that should do the trick. I'll have to check on the tuning, never had it done, but I'm sure there's at least one place that can do it around LA!!!! |

| do NOT use carb cleaner on the MAF sensor. cleaning the intake and TB up does help. try not to spray cleaner directly into the sensors mounted on the TB. they make a special cleaner for the MAF and have even heard of people using brake parts cleaner. anything that does not leave an oily residue. but i would check on that first before doing it. |

| Well, it has 8 lug wheels. So I guess either this fellow ordered a ton of options, or they didn't badge HD's in '98. Last edited by CharlyG; 06-22-2008 at 12:20 PM. |

| Thanks, got the Royal Purple in today, along with some Pennzoil synthetic gear oil in the diff. They wanted to do the trans, but the oil looks so clean and new, I'm waiting a bit. I stuck with stock oil(Ac-Delco) and air filter(Purolator paper) replacement. I also had them change the fuel filter. This truck has been well taken care of so I didin't really HAVE to do those things right away, but hey! Do you happen to know where the washer pump is located. Mine doesn't work.. I would also like to unhook those daytime driving lights too! Stump - I didn't notice you were from Canada until I saw colour! I'm from South Dakota way back........

| I still have an issue with starting. It cranks well, but doesn't fire unless I tap the gas a touch before starting. Any ideas? I haven't changed the plugs yet, but it seems more gas related......
