you can stop clicking the link to this thread... simple solution.

you feel bad for the guy who buys it!? even if the truck was stock its worth over $16k! you don't even have the brains to realize that... so how is anyone to think you have a viable argument anywhere within this thread?

once again - i take the stock numbers as given directly by ford, i add up what the manufacturers CLAIM, and somehow _I_ get beat to a bloody pulp for it... go figure.

its amazing how this forum can keep any members...

Unhappy I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison....

Wow! 16,000$ for a ext-cab 7.3. Here in Co you can't give em away I know I have one. Mods are not really going to add to your selling price it will just narrow down a buyer. Sorry bud but black smokers are just not worth s*** now. Maybe when we get gas prices down.Don't worry you still have a viper, airplane and time machine! Till then get a dyno (your numbers are way off!) and cross your fingers!!!

Ps: Try to show some respect to the senior members.....guess what they know what they are talking about!!!!

Rude? No we are trying to help. You still hold to your numbers.... And are trying to push this truck on us, and what we are doing is pointing out why it is not working. Personally, instead of attacking those of us who DO respect this forum, try Ebay or the local paper. Or better, trade the stupid thing in. You havn't gotten any luck trying to sell it here, probably because math is beyond you, so move on, pull the wool over someone elses eyes, and sell this thing somewhere else. Truth be told, I sincerely hope you do sell it. And I hope that everything works out for you. But point of advice... this place is like a family, and there are those of us who carry respect, and give it.... And we honor that.... We will stop attacking you when you stop attacking or bu!!sh!tting us.... Fair? End of story for me.

bs... NO WAY a psd with relative miles and the same condition went for $8k. if so, the seller is stupid! i paid over $17k for mine on ebay (market value) 4 months ago... took me bidding on 4 different trucks to get that kind of a deal.

eBay Motors: Ford : F-250 (item 110263075203 end time Jun-27-08 15:42:35 PDT)

the truck above (same miles) is a T.U.R.D compared to mine.

eBay Motors: Ford : F-250 (item 350072618377 end time Jul-12-08 14:52:34 PDT)

... and i'm asking too much... haha i think you guys need to venture out of this community here and see what's going on in the real world... yes, diesel is high, but these trucks still have their value.

anyway, truck is gone... $15,500.

the guy who bought it OWNS a performance shop with a mustang dyno... threw it on there and it put down 323 hp and 654 tq. at the wheels. add roughly 20% to those numbers and it looks like i wasn't too far off...

put that in your pipe and smoke it. so my ESTIMATES were overshot by just a bit... but not enough for all the smack talk. end of story. truck is gone... no need for me to come back here to the 'family' who thinks they know everything...

How is this truck a T.U.R.D compared to yours? This one actually has new tires on it, plus it is a crew cab which will still hold a better re-sale than a supercab... But you are right.. It is a t.u.r.d just because you never owned it.

Um no they are not Holding their value. These trucks are becoming a dime a dozen because of fuel prices!

To bad you really aren't convincing anyone with this statement. I can claim those numbers all day long on the internet too

Alls I can say is thank god this is finally over. I saw a 2007 F350 Diesel with only 7k miles on it for sale on my way to work today, and he had it set at 9700 OBO so yeah I agree, the truck market has fallen huge! I am actually thinking of taking advantage of it here shortly and buying a newer one then this stupid thing I am driving now....LOL....
