| I'm sure it's a fine ride. And I KNOW it looks much better than yet another '57 Chevy or '32 Ford on the street. |

| Had hubby look at the pics.. he thinks the DR must be for drive and the R must be off to the left, it looks like the plate has rotated a bit. Of course we are Ford people here so we may be wrong

| Wow he did get a steal! I agree with Moo. Looks like the plate has turned a little, or the angle of the picture is throwing it off.

| Hey guys/gals he bought plates for the car yesterday he said one of the front wheel bearings is making noise my 82 year old dad said bearings back then didn't last that long like now and my brother was reading the owners manuel it says tune up every 1000 miles and the car warrenty was for only 4000 miles that was back in 1955 we have come a long way he said that all the parts to the A/C system are in the trunk he's going to place them back on the car he's going to service the trans replace all hoses water and brakes do a little work so he can trust it. Be good! GMC PS-He took his HD diesel truck to pick it up well it started raining he said they placed all the luggage in the big trunk the car has he made a small vaction out of the trip they went to Six Flags and so on he was telling me about the Garmin NUVI that he had installed he's very happy with it he just placed the address in it and he didn't get lost at all finding that little town. Not bad! |
