4x4 trucks.

What year was it when 4x4's became popular? I remember back in the mid 70's 4x4ing was happening we had a 76 Scout I placed some wide rims and some wide brute tires on it we had a good times at South Padre Island we would pull cars/trucks out for beer/food money boy did that Scout ever get rusted I found out with a girl that 4x4's get stuck it was something I will never forget. My buddy had a Ford with a lift kit and big tires im guessing 35'' well his front axle messed up and some guy drove him home about 60 miles when he return they had jacked the wheels & tires I worked at a IH dealer I remember test driving the Scout SS-II they were cool. Them were the good old days when gas was cheap and I didn't have a worry in the world no bills living at home with mom & pop.

Well I think it was when Big Foot came up with the idea about placing big axles on a Ford truck then things changed big times GMC that when I think it started.

hey i recently snaped my power stering pump off roading i replace it but now it will hardly turn for **** inless if i punch the gas and it hums and wistles at me why is that

AIR in pump! or its set up too tight, may need to adjust worm gear...

GMC WTF! hahaha, silly, yeah i figure bigfoot really set things in motion, that must of been mid 70`s? or early 80`s but i know there was some early explorer types doin it with the late 60`s trucks, (4X4`s of course) mud and oil in my vains baby!!, and smoke, tire smoke to be exact, haha, jeez i shouldn`t drink NOS energy drink! freakin WORKS!! i`m ripped!

Didn't go after all to see grandkids my back has been acting up bad. I heard that drinking Red Bull can mess you up if you drink a ton of them this brings me to Deadliest Catch on TV I forgot the name of the captain I think it's the Northwestern I know he drinks like well over a hundred while out fishing now he's having problems the last show I saw he was spitting blood from his mouth I heard someone else has a law suit with Red Bull right now because they to have stomach problems but you can't believe what you always hear on the news I love seeing that show. I hope he comes out ok I know his two boys are on the ship with him and one GOOD buddy that watches over him like a buddy should.
