| Thats funny.... though GM is GM... they all have the same motors... but I hated the Bravada since the 4wd systems was intergrated and you lost control. They lost gas mileage for the sake of trying to make it "luxury".... but I am sure there is a reason GM stopped production of them... too redundant... One set of Buicks is enough...LOL....

| Dodge makes a truck? My answer would have to be based on what the truck is used for. I like the comfort, features, fuel mileage and dependability of GM trucks even though they have some known issues that I think GM should be more agressive about resolving. But for heavy hauling, or pulling, I think Ford has a stronger chassis and better more sturdy brakes. I am not a big fan of the Ford modular motors, the 4.6 and 5.4. Fords newer corporate diesels are junk. Lots of power and fair mpg, but they tend to break down alot. The one thing Dodge did get right is the Cummings. Now if they could build a truck around that.... Also, if I buy brand NEW I buy GM cuz they hold their value. If I buy used, I buy Ford cuz they don't hold their value and you can buy a decent used vehicle at a decent price. I hate to say it, and I have not got into the deep research, but I hear the Toyota Tundra is truley a very good all around truck with all the good stuff with dependability and strength. Surely the US automakers are not going to let themselves be out done by rice. Lets hope not, it has happened in the past. JMO |
