iz gotz a question

Very very soon, im gettin a 90 model f150 xlt lariat. It has a 351m, 4x4, bored .030 --> with a paxton supercharger. it has rare bucket seats, a 5spd tranny, roll bar, tool box, tube-type bed rails, nerf bars, spray in bed liner, and a 1200 watt sound system. It is also equipped with dual thrush glaspacks. I was told that the truck is a special edition. most of the stuff on it is aftermarket as most of you might know, but i was wondering if anyone knows anything about the "special edition" thing. it is supposedly #49 of 50 made. lemme know if anyone knows anything about these. Any info would be highly appreciated.

thnx
james

I've never heard of the Special Edition. The only "Special" ones I can remember were back in the early to late 70's, like the camper special, ranger special, farm and ranch special, contractors special, etc.

It sounds like most of, if not all of the stuff on that truck is after market.

Do you have any pictures?

no, i dont have any pics right now. its at the tranny shop gettin the reverse gear fixed. i think the thing that gave it away is the red white and blue owners manual with the words "ford motor company #49/50" or somethin similar to that. most of it is aftermarket though. i know the bucket seats are factory though.

Is it a supercab or single? I'm just curious about that.

I honestly have never seen a super cab without the buckets, but I have not seen a single cab with them .

It sounds like a bad *** truck, though.

update

Well, i got some really bad news. Wednesday, the truck was on the way from the tranny shop (just got new racing tranny) and a drunk guy in a rig head-on'ed him on the interstate. the truck was totalled. Some parts on the truck could be salvaged, but not many. There is a possibility that i could be getting about $10000 from the damage.
