| "Free" tools? Ever find a free tool in a used car? I replaced the PCV valve on my wife's car today and found a 10mm 1/4" socket under the fuel rail cover. I think my best find was a big set of wire cutters stamped "Property of Southern Bell" inside the fender of our old Cherokee. Last edited by z07; 06-29-2008 at 10:00 PM. | We found a retainer (you know for your TEETH!) in my mustang... and I had that car for approx 10 years and no one I knew had a retainer, it was under the center console. However when we bought this house we found random tools and a shovel out in the pasture. Ohh hubby did find SHAG CARPET in his mustang... but I don't think it was anything someone was transporting temporarily.

I did loan my car ('76 Grand Prix) to my brother once and he returned it with footprints on the inside of the windshield. The mind boggles... | |
