think there is a 396 and a 427 or 429 in there somewhere. i think the 409 was a clev block stroked out. correct me if im wrong.
love to look at what you have mopar but have no use for that engine so will have to pass this time.

409 and 348 were the W motors because of the cylinder head shape. but I think they were just mean from the factory I dont think they were stroker motors though

307 were found in the buicks and it was actualy a 307 big block the only thing that matches up with the307 to like to 305 and 350 is the carb and thats it the manafolds are totaly diff. i put a buick electra station wagon in the derby with the 307 with stacks out of the hood

I believe the 307 replaced the 283. It had a different set of heads on the same 283 block. Then came the 305 and then the 5.0L. I think my history is basically accurate.
