| Ok guys i'm looking at new starters for my 1998 gmc 1500 and i had to build a custom mounting bracket for the current starter because one of the bolts broke off in the block and then the tungsten extractor bit broke off in the bolt so i have to use the front two mounting holes. Anyway i've been looking at new starters because then one i already have is going out slowly and i was on summits website and seen a Proform High-Compression Racing Starter, but its a mini, the website says that it will fit and operate fine, i was just wondering if anyone new anything about how well they performed and what the longevity is for them for 148 dollars i don't want to buy another one anytime soon
