Yes it is a dual plane, each injector feeds 4 cyls. I think what happened is that it was still a little rich and I got my hands on a stock fuel pressure spring for the reg. and installed it to lean it out a little but it was not stiff enough. I run a fuel pump from a LS6 Corevette fuel system about 120psi. The spring in it now allows 26-31Spraying psi. This kind of psi allows the fuel to vaporize quicker giving you more potent air fuel mixture. The result of the stock spring was that is was to weak for this kind of pressure thus delivering 50+psi to the injector weakening the internal pulse coil of the injector causing it not to be as responsive to electrical pulses an sluggish in openings and closings thus dumping too much fuel.
