19'78 Chevy saddle/dual tanks Wiring Harness
I've been trying to locate a wiring harness fo a '78 Chevy half ton. It's the harness for saddle tanks with a black electric switch in the dash. I believe it was stock it was in it when I bought the truck. I'm just missin the harness. Does anybody know where I can find another one? Or at least a wiring diagram so I can hard wire it myself. Thanks for any help giving!!!!!

Thanks for the schematic. That's what I've been looking for. It is a new switch and valve I just needed to wire it.

Glad to be of help. Got help from others here, this is a little payback
Surprised they couldn't give diagram with the parts.
A little tip: a lot of the electric switches go in upside down to which wire is left or right to your eyes
so check the power out before putting in dash.
This is not on off but switching the hot and grnd with each other. if you do this with one tank full
and the other empty it's easy to see on gas gauge which one you got.
If tanks are same-ish or you can't tell, check power to sender for which is "on"
Post back how it went, anything that hung you up, etc
Please don't PM truck fix questions, bravely start a new thread for them.
It is a forum afterall.
